Parent-Infant Psychotherapy focuses on the relationship between you and your

baby or young child (ages 0-4). These early years are a time of incredible growth and connection,

but they can also bring unique challenges. In our sessions, you and your child will meet together

in my office, and the heart of our work will be strengthening your bond and understanding each

other more deeply.

This specialized therapy can be incredibly helpful if you’re experiencing one or more of the following:

  • Significant anxiety about parenting, and feeling overwhelmed or unsure.
  • Depression or postpartum depression
  • Difficulties with bonding or connecting with your baby or young child.
  • A personal history of trauma or attachment disruption, which may be impacting your parenting experience.
  • A recent trauma, loss, or highly stressful situation that continues to impact you amidst trying to look after your baby or young child
  • Concerns about your child’s emotional development, behavior, or emotional well-being.

How We Work Together

Our sessions are child-led and play-based, creating a natural and comfortable

environment for both of you. During our time, I’ll help you:

  • Explore your own experiences, anxieties, and expectations about parenting:

\ Understanding how your past and present feelings shape your interactions.

  • Deepen your understanding of your child’s unique developmental needs and cues:

\ Learning to “read” your child’s signals more clearly.

  • Build confidence in your parenting abilities: Feeling more secure and effective in your

\ role.

  • Strengthen the foundations for a strong, healthy, and joyful relationship with your

\ young child.

My goal is to increase your parental ease, foster developmental understanding, and
support the growth of secure and loving connections within your family.
